Welcome to KittyVista LLC, the place where food, flowers and furry beasts converge.

We are now in our 9th growing season, and facing both economic and weather challenges. A cold, rainy spring has delayed planting, but what is growing is extremely lush and green. We've gone plum crazy planting summer flowers for cutting, so visit our stand at the Cumberland, Indiana farmers market for fresh bouquets from May through October.

If you are a true garden geek, check out our newsletter. It offers articles on plants, garden design and landscaping trends, recipes, and a plethora of miscellaneous (and often useless but intriguing) information. Rest assured we remain SPAM free and never sell or rent your information.

August begins the Dog Days of summer, and State Fair is just around the corner!

We are harvesting our herbs this month. Basil, sage, cilantro, spearmint and lemon balm will all be available either fresh or dried for cooking, soap making or teas.

It's also time for Glad Madness - our gladiolus are beginning to bloom! We offer a wide array of colors, from pale yellow to deep purple and everything in between. Three stems makes that vase of annuals look complete.

Finally, the Naked Ladies have come out to play. Our hardy amaryllis flowers are up and dancing in the summer breezes. Add a few of these long-legged beauties to your vase as well.
